While Ovations prefer to take ownership for projects in terms of resourcing and accountability for delivery, we do realise that clients sometimes already have a dedicated project team looking after a project, and only have a requirement for a certain skill set to complete the team. In these cases, Ovations can make resources available on an ad hoc basis to support our clients looking for a specific skill to complement their existing team in achieving their project objectives.
These ad hoc services include making a resource (for example, a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Change Manager) available to the client project in a project delivery capacity or providing the client with a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to play an advisory role on a client project.

Our Approach
Ovations will access the client resource requirements on a case-by-case basis to ensure we understand the specific needs of the client and the specific project demands. This ensures we make the right resource available to the client with the right skill set and experience. We do not follow an “once size fits all” approach, as we believe having the right resource for the job does not only mean the client has a better chance of realising its planned objectives, but also ensure that the resource fits well within the bigger client team in terms of team dynamics and performance.

Q -Is Ovations a labour broker?A – No, Ovations is not in the labour broking business and prefer to take ownership of delivery on projects and solutions from a to z. All our resources are permanent staff of Ovations and hence represent the brand and culture of the Ovations Group.
Q – Are Ovations' resources paid per hour and does this therefore have an impact on the rate Ovations charges clients per hour?
A – No, Ovations employees are permanent employees that get paid a fixed salary irrespective of the rate being asked from the client. This therefore gives Ovations the opportunity to be more flexible in the pricing options we offer to our clients as we can offer fixed price solutions rather than the sometimes more costly time-and-material options.
